What does this include?

"In the dark times/Will there also be singing?/Yes, there will also be singing./About the dark times.” ― Bertolt Brecht In this three-week generative class, we'll look at poems, song lyrics and other texts that sing about and from the dark times. We'll use these poems as prompts for our own writing. I know there is humor in the dark; there are gems that sparkle and shine, and there can be nourishment and community there too. This class will provide an opportunity for us to strike sparks of inspiration from each other. Our format will be: share poems and lyrics from hand-outs that I provide, time for small group work, time for writing, and time for sharing.
